Senior Civil Engineer (PE) — Infrastructure / Construction Consulting
Opportunity in the infrastructure engineering and construction consulting sector delivering transportation, utilities, municipal, and commercial civil projects across the United States. This is an on-site leadership role focused on end-to-end project delivery—design, permitting, construction support, and client engagement for complex public and private works.
Our Team is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to lead multi-discipline design efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive construction-phase success for regional infrastructure programs. The ideal candidate combines strong technical design skills, proven client-facing experience, and a commitment to mentoring junior staff.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil design packages from concept through construction, including grading, earthwork, drainage, utilities, and pavement design.
- Prepare, review, and stamp engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and permit submittals ensuring code and agency compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, permitting agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to drive schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Provide on-site and / or remote construction support : RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, site inspections, and change-order evaluation.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control processes; enforce design standards and best practices across project teams.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians; review deliverables to elevate team capability and consistency.
Skills QualificationsMust-Have
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.Proven track record leading design and construction activities for municipal or infrastructure projects.Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and hydraulic / hydrologic modeling tools for drainage and stormwater design.Preferred
Experience with state DOTs, municipal permitting processes, and public agency coordination.Familiarity with Revit / BIM workflows, MicroStation, and construction administration best practices; PMP or equivalent project management training a plus.Benefits Culture Highlights
