CIPE’s key program areas include enterprise ecosystems, democratic governance, business advocacy, anti-corruption & ethics, and trade.

Position : Associate Program Officer, Anti-Corruption & Governance Center Reports to : Deputy Director, ACGC Scope : This is a full-time, non-exempt, position.

The Associate Program Officer (APO) is responsible for providing programmatic and administrative support for CIPE’s Anti-Corruption & Governance Center (ACGC).

The APO will work in close collaboration with ACGC staff, including the Director, in order to coordinate project management deliverables and activities for the ACGC portfolios.

Responsibilities : Draft periodic reports, cumulative assessments, programmatic proposals, blogs, articles, and other documents for internal audiences, donor agencies, and CIPE promotional use.

Prepare and monitor proposal budgets, contracts, and grant agreements, in coordination with ACGC staff and the CIPE Finance and Grants Department.

With appropriate guidance, manage and actively cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholders, including local partners, international organizations, consultants, and donors to coordinate program activities, events, public outreach, and travel.

Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) / Applications (RFAs) / Proposals (RFPs), as well as investigating unsolicited prospective funding opportunities.

Develop a robust and ongoing engagement with CIPE’s regional teams as ACGC streamlines Integrated Compliance and Sustainable Investing work CIPE-wide.

Assist in the managing and tracking of the growing number of consultants and experts retained by ACGC related to Integrated Compliance and Sustainable Investing work.

Identify potential business opportunities related to Integrated Compliance and Sustainable Investing work. Coordinate with programmatic teams to develop CIPE expertise on anti-corruption, to track anti-corruption programming, to develop innovative anti-corruption programs, to support the sharing of anti-corruption expertise.

Contribute to ACGC’s communications efforts which may include drafting blogs, tweets, press releases, and communications strategy plans.

Coordinate the administration that is relevant to the APO’s portfolio, including the processing and tracking of payment requests, grantee and consultant payments, travel expense reports, narrative and financial reports, and other filings.

Maintaining a variety of programmatic, financial, correspondence, and contract files in the ACGC SharePoint. Prepare and review routine documents such as grant agreements, consultant contracts, reporting documents for grantees, etc.

Collaborate with multiple departments to achieve programmatic goals, including Communications, Grants and Finance, Policy and Program Learning, and other regional teams as needed.

Contribute to an organization-wide culture of innovation, integrity, and high performance, especially related to Integrated Compliance and Sustainable Investing work.

Maintain organizational development tools and content and assist program staff in accessing relevant tools and content. Work closely with partners, consultants, and international organizations, to assist in the management, via e-mail and meetings, in coordinating program activities, updates, events, and travel.

Adhere to appropriate CIPE, NED, and other donor policies and procedures. Qualifications : A minimum of 3 years of administrative office and or program experience required, particularly in supporting international development programs preferred.

Experience organizing virtual and in-person anti-corruption events. Background in international affairs with an interest in anti-corruption and Integrated Compliance and Sustainability issues.

Strong computer skills, MS-Office, WordPress, Excel, and willingness to integrate new software programs into workflow. Strong English writing and research skills.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative to manage multiple, detail-oriented tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Experience on developing communication strategy. Demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive, detail-oriented tasks with limited supervision.

Strong financial acumen, in order to develop and monitor project budgets. International work experience or education is a plus.

Fluency in a second language, is preferred.
