Philanthropy Program Coordinator

Position Description :

As a Philanthropy Program Coordinator in Institutional Advancement you will provide professional support to the MCW Office of Institutional Advancement and Froedtert Hospital Foundation, providing project management and administrative support to advance philanthropic productivity.

Primary Functions

• Support Assistant Vice President of Philanthropy, Managing Senior Director of Philanthropy, and other OIA leaders, gift officers and development liaisons in furthering benefactor relationships and philanthropic productivity.
• Assist in the planning and execution of benefactor meetings, including participant scheduling, room reservations, A / V setup, catering, materials preparation, and related duties.
• Draft and edit correspondence to prospects, donors, board members, alumni, faculty, and staff.
• Compose strategy sheets, briefing documents, and contact reports.
• Properly record information about prospects / donors using Raiser's Edge database. Ensure key donor information is properly captured in donor record.
• Run key financial and donor data reports to assist philanthropy team in analyzing donor data and moves management.
• Assist with travel planning and expense reports.
• Work with Institutional Advancement leadership to provide communication, training and educational resources for gift officer team.

Organize team meetings and retreats, including agenda planning, room reservations, A / V setup, catering, participant scheduling, materials preparation, and related duties.

Execute projects and special assignments in collaboration with OIA internal teams.

Maintain project schedules including tracking deadlines, milestones, and due dates.

Position Requirements :

Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis

Minimum Required Education : Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Required Experience : 2 years

Preferred Experience : 2 years in a fundraising, business development or sales environment

Preferred Qualifications : Program / project coordination in a fundraising, business development or sales environment
