Summary Of Position : This position is responsible for weighing gram bags for compound batches and unloading bulk raw materials from tanks, railcars and trucks.

Essential Functions

• Accurately weigh ingredients for gram bags by following recipe to properly supply mixers.
• Operation of all bulk unloading systems to transfer delivered blacks, clays and oils into bulk storage.
• Order raw materials as needed.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, incoming supplies and needs of the mixers.
• Sample and identify raw materials. Confirm quality.
• Keep area clean.
• Must use frequent physical effort to perform job duties.
• Able to foster professionalism with all associates along with internal and external customers.
• Monitor and follow all safety preventative measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines.

Education : High School diploma or GED preferred Experience : Previous experience in manufacturing preferred Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

Skills / Competencies : 1. Basic computer skills 2. Vision : Near acuity and accommodation for reading information to perform job tasks 3. Requires constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail 4. Must be able to operate material handling equipment and hoist, if needed

Organizational Relationships / Scope : Report directly to Value Stream Team Leader Work closely with other departments to resolve issues with the processes & equipment Working Conditions : The employee may be subject to : High noise levels from operating machines and equipment Physical hazards from operating machines and moving reels Work in areas where safety equipment will be required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, high visibility clothing) Standing is required for extended periods of time. Walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting is performed on a regular basis Requires high degree of manual dexterity, which could be performed under restrictive conditions Requires flexible hours and short notice for overtime
