The company is a fast-moving aerospace startup launched in 2019, focused on building cutting-edge unmanned aerial platforms and miniaturized sensor technologies for defense and commercial use. Currently seeking an experienced Aeromechanical Engineer to join a cross-functional team developing low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) sensor systems and small electric unmanned aircraft from the ground up.

Lead mechanical design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of novel sensor and aircraft hardware.Contribute to clean-sheet system architectures and mechanical development.Drive trade studies and risk-reduction testing for design validation.Interface with suppliers and manage component fabrication.Develop practical test setups and assist in manufacturing transition.Help build realistic project timelines in collaboration with engineering leadership.The Background Profile
U.S. Citizenship requiredBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or relevant Engineering discipline; Master's Degree a plus5+ years of experience with mechanical systems, mechanisms, or aircraft structuresFull product lifecycle experience from concept to productionFamiliarity and broad capability with SWaP-constrained systems, small UAS, and / or model aircraft strongly preferredProficiency in SolidWorks, with hands-on prototyping and test experienceStrong understanding of materials, structural analysis, sealing, and fabrication methods including the development of lightweight metallic and composite mechanismsAbility to work onsite at the facility in the Paradise Valley, AZ area and comfortable in fast-paced R&D environmentsThe Ideal Background
