The Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement Coordinator will provide crucial administrative and program support for Milton Academys annual giving (the Milton Fund) and engagement initiatives that are central to advancing the schools strategic mission. The coordinator will play a key role in supporting a broad range of giving and engagement programs, and will also collaborate closely with colleagues to execute ongoing and special initiatives including but not limited to multi-channel engagement communications (email, social media, direct mail), Milton Fund donor stewardship and cultivation campaigns, alumni volunteer committees and councils, as well as donor and engagement reports and metric tracking.
Milton Academy seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented coordinator to join the Development and Alumni Relations team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in communications, annual giving, and alumni and student engagement.
The Coordinator will help create multi-channel communications, support stewardship efforts, collaborate with student volunteers, and provide administrative support for alumni volunteer programs, events, and fundraising campaigns, such as Reunion and Giving Day.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Assist with the development and implementation of multi-channel engagement communication campaigns, including email, social media, newsletters, and direct mail. Draft communications, coordinate with colleagues to generate compelling content, assist with managing production schedule / calendar, and run analytics reports as needed to track effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to produce annual giving and engagement marketing communications.
- Support stewardship initiatives for annual donors, including Milton Fund donor society recognition, donor retention and cultivation campaigns, and student-led ThankView campaigns.
- With guidance from the Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, coordinate programs that introduce current students to the value of the Milton alumni network prior to graduation.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for alumni volunteer committees and councils, including recruitment, meeting preparation, and resource updates.
- Assist in maintaining reports and tracking progress on annual giving and engagement goals, entering data and running reports as needed using Raiser's Edge database and other software platforms.
- Collaborating with Milton's events team, staff alumni programs and events as assigned with a special focus on Reunion Weekend and other signature alumni events throughout the year.
- Profile general program support as needed to the Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement team, in particular at key times of year : Calendar Year End, Giving Day, Reunion, Fiscal Year End.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement team's priorities, and work with the team to ensure coordinated, synchronized efforts throughout the year.
- Work cooperatively with other coordinators and team members on shared projects and office initiatives.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Supervision to be received : Reports to the Director of Annual Giving and Engagement.
Education and Experience :
Required : A bachelor's degree and 1+ years of work experience.
Preferred : Experience in an independent school or college environment; communications / marketing and / or fundraising or alumni engagement work experience.
