Handel and Haydn Society | Annual Fund and Partnerships Coordinator
Reports to : VP of Donor Relations and Partnerships
Position Overview :
The Annual Fund and Partnerships Coordinator is an essential member of the Development team and its integration with Marketing, Communications, and Box Office. In this role, you will foster an exceptional donor and patron experience through intentional and exemplary stewardship, relationship-building, and customer service in accordance with our mission : To inspire the intellect, touch the heart, elevate the soul, and connect us all with our shared humanity through transformative experiences with Baroque and Classical music.
Key areas of responsibility :
- Develop and i mplement solicitation and stewardship strategies to ensure a successful a nnual g iving program , focused on donors giving below $10,000. M anage day-to-day operations of the individual fundraising program including direct mail, telefunding , e-mails, benefit fulfillment, donor cultivation and stewardship, reporting / analysis , and the department's use of Prospect2, our online giving platform.
- Support H+H's Partnerships portfolio focusing on initiatives that increase audience diversity, emphasize access and belonging, and engage young professionals and students.
- Coordinate all development and partnerships communications with the Marketing and Communications Department to ensure consistency of voice and message.
- Manage and grow Continuo, H+H's monthly giving program, incentivizing long-term engagement and increasing donor contributions and retention.
- Become one of the subject matter experts in our CRM, Tessitura, to maintain constituent records, e nter and track data, execute ticket and merchandise sales, process and acknowledge gifts and pledges, and prepare reporting .
- In collaboration with the Patron Experience team, staff the phone queue on an established schedule .
- Provide support for H+H concerts and be a liaison for Development events and serve as an ambassador of the organization in the community.

A passion for sharing music with all people.Energy, curiosity, flexibility, willingness to take initiative, and strong enthusiasm for customer service, fundraising and community engagement .Bachelor's degree and at least three years of fundraising, arts administration , or equivalent experience are preferred.Ability to perform in a dynamic work environment, meeting multiple deadlines and managing multiple projects.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people of all ag es, backgrounds, and abilities .Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion , maintaining the highest level of patron confidentiality .Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Tessitura preferred.Evening and weekend work is required along with availability to work onsite in the Boston area at approximately 50% of H+H concerts. For the 2025-2026 season this is approximately 12 weekends per year.Compensation : $ 60 ,000 - $ 7 0 ,000
