RN - ICU / Intensive care unit

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in "ICU" for a 13-week contract position in Bronx, NY.\n\nThe job details are mentioned below : \n

• Title : Registered Nurse - ICU\n
• Location : Bronx, NY 10457\n
• Duration : 13-week contract with a possible extension.\n
• Shift : 3x12 hours night shift, 7 : 00 PM -7 : 30 AM with every other weekend requirement.\n
• (Guaranteed hours - 34.5 weekly)\n\nThe job requirements and duties are mentioned below : \n
• BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school.\n
• RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity\n
• 3yrs or more ICU experience is a plus\n
• Certs Req to Start : ACLS, BCLS, PALS.\n
• Preferred but not required CCRN and TNCC\n
• Efficient in managing patient with EVD, multiple medication drips, use of Hemosphere Flotrac.\n
• Efficient in managing trauma patient of different severities.\n
• Perform assessment using CAM, CPOT, and RASS\n
• Efficient in the care of patient with hypothermia treatment\n
• Familiar with the care pleurevac chest tube drainage\n
• Familiar with the use of Allscript EMR\n
• Must observe strict isolation precaution, hand washing, gel in and gel out.\n
• Must follow the SOP and critical care practice of St. Barnabas Hospital.\n
