As a Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor, you'll provide individual and group therapy in community and home settings, supporting clients in achieving their personal goals. You'll use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral approaches, and relapse prevention techniques tailored to each client's readiness for change. Your role will include assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and collaboration with treatment teams to ensure the highest quality care across multiple programs, including ACT / ACT-TAY, ITCD, and Community Psycho Rehab (CPRP).

Physical Requirements :

ADA Consideration - Sedentary work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and / or writing during work shift.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
