Atomic Machines is ushering in a new era of micromanufacturing with its Matter Compiler™ technology. This full-stack technology enables new classes of micromachines to be designed and built by offering manufacturing processes and a materials library that is inaccessible to semiconductor manufacturing methods. It promises to unlock MEMS manufacturing for the many device classes frustrated by semiconductor methods and to open up entirely new product classes. The Matter Compiler™ technology fully realizes the digital manufacturing dream : bits and raw materials go in, and complete, functional micromachines come out. About the Role : \n
This role will begin on the day shift (8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM) to support initial ramp-up and training. Within the first six months, it will transition to a permanent night shift , operating from 12 : 30 AM to 9 : 00 AM .

This role is based in Emeryville. As a Machine Shop Tech, you will be partnering with our prototype machinists to create unique and innovative parts that will go directly into the Matter Compiler™! This role is critical to ensuring our machine shop is running smoothly. You will be ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality production by preparing and cutting stock materials to specified dimensions, operating machinery to produce precision components, deburring parts to meet specifications, and inspecting parts to verify accuracy and compliance with design tolerances. You should have attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
