Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the financial institution location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or activities. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or unusual occurrences according to established protocols. Work collaboratively with client staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence at the location. Assist with access control procedures and visitor management as required by site-specific guidelines. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must be at least 21 years of age. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol Full-Time
As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol Full-Time in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the location. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
