Job Details

Position Overview : The Assistant Controller, reporting to the Controller, will be directly responsible for managing the accounting team and month end close process. Managing a team of 3, the Assistant Controller will deliver monthly financial on schedule and with high accuracy to the Controller for review.

Day to Day Responsibilities :

• Own and manage the accounting calendar, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met with accuracy and consistency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 3
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Controller to prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for leadership review.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Model and reinforce core values in all aspects of leadership and decision-making.
