Job description

An award-winning not-for-profit independent healthcare system, nationally recognized for bariatric & metabolic weight loss, is seeking an experienced Obesity Medicine Director (OMD) / Weight Management Department Lead physician to lead their growing two-provider team in the Minneapolis Metro :

  • Newly developed program and volumes quickly growing due to community need
  • Around 10%-15% leadership (opportunity to further grow leadership over time) with remaining time dedicated to clinic
  • 100% outpatient weight management : no weekends, no nights, no call, no holidays
  • Accredited Comprehensive Center under the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP)
  • Leadership responsibilities include working closely with group in obtaining MBSAQIP certification within Obesity Medicine / Weight Loss, identifying areas of growth and expansion, further developing comprehensive care model, working with IT structures, and more
  • $300,000+ ongoing base guarantee with no RVU pressure
