Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio starting Nov 6, 2025. This opportunity offers a consistent Thursday schedule from 8am to 5pm, providing a pivotal role as the sole dentist onsite. The assignment focuses on general dentistry procedures without amalgams and emphasizes efficient documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct hygiene checks and basic composite restorations
  • Perform single crown restorations
  • Complete simple extractions (complex cases referred out)
  • Maintain consistent, efficient daily logging of patient notes
  • Follow scheduled treatment plans and consult with supervising doctor before making any changes
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient records and documentation

    • Additional Information

  • Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Ohio
  • Root canal experience is appreciated but not required
  • The provider will be the only dentist onsite during scheduled days
