ESE Chair

ESI is now hiring an ESE Chair in the Port St. Lucie, FL area to start in the 2025-2026 school year.

POSITION SUMMARY :

ESI is seeking an ESE Chair who is responsible for hands-on work with ESE students in addition to supervisory responsibilities. The ESE Chair will oversee a team of 1 ESE Teacher and 2 paraprofessionals.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelors Degree (BA) in Education, Special Education, or a related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
• Statement of Eligibility OR Teacher Certification in ESE / Special Education.
• Certified in at least two areas of Exceptional Education, preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in ESE
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, climb, crawl, push a cart, or lift during the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, including small packages and supplies.
• Ability to pass Level 2 background check.
