Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's & Newborn's (Full Time)

Uvalde Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women's & Newborns unit. As an integral member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both. Your expertise will assist in labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care while fostering patient education and family involvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, as well as newborns.
• Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and manage IVs and epidurals as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and other related procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
