The Role
Manage the ongoing strategies, tactics, and application of NTRP; manage the strategic development, tactical execution, and day-to-day operations of NTRP and USTA rankings to ensure USTA Competition Data Products provide players with an equitable, reliable measure of competitive ability.
NTRP
- Drive the strategic development and comprehensive testing of NTRP policies, methodologies, and algorithm updates.
- Manage the NTRP rating run and publishing process, including related activities with Active, USTA, and the ratings team.
- Serve as a key consultant and SME on NTRP, collaborating with cross-functional teams to put NTRP in a position of 35x35 growth.
- Support researching and responding to player and staff rating inquiries and appeals.
- Lead NTRP operations team and serve as staff member to NTRP Advisory Committee
Rankings
Oversee the application of USTA rankings for adult, junior, and wheelchair tournaments.Monitor and analyze the accuracy of USTA rankings, including updates to the ranking guidelines and calculations.Serve as the subject matter expert on various cross-functional teams involved with the application of USTA ranking systems.Manage the USTA ranking system and enhancements, including the final ranking process and applicable ranking updates.Develop a ranking education strategy to inform providers and players, and drive desired engagement from parents, players, and staff.WTN
Support key WTN projects and tasks focused on enhancing the accuracy and driving wider adoption of the rating system.This position is designated as "hybrid / flex" in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid / flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy. This position is considered exempt.

This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
