Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
Job Title : School Psychologist Opening
Location : Tempe, AZ
Duration : January to End of School Year (EOSY)
Hours per Week : 40 (unless meetings after school)
Caseload / Population : High School, approximately 25 METs for the semester
Requirements :
- Certified experienced high school psychologist
- In-person presence required
- Fingerprint clearance card
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement strategies supporting students' academic and social-emotional well-being
- Provide counseling services to individuals and groups as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Support the development and implementation of behavioral intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and assessments
Additional Details :
- The position requires in-person attendance.
- Fingerprint clearance card is mandatory.
- Some meetings may occur after regular school hours.
Qualifications :
- Certified School Psychologist with experience at the high school level.
- Knowledge of relevant psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
