Job Description :

This position assists the UF / IFAS Annual Report Publication Coordinator, who works with the UF / IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences) Office of Research, in preparing the UF / IFAS annual report of peer-reviewed journal articles for submission to the USDA.

Work on the project will consist of creating 27 separate unit lists in EndNote, Excel, and Word, which in total contain approximately 2,400 citations and a master list of unique citations in EndNote Web, Word, and Excel. Attention to detail is extremely important .

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Downloads article citations from Scopus, Web of Science, and journal websites into EndNote Web
• Verifies all citation elements are correct in EndNote and Word / Excel
• Reviews each citation for compliance with established publication guidelines, which includes verifying :
• that article is in its “final form” in 2025 (not online first / preprint / first look, etc.)
• the journal and article type of the citation are both peer-reviewed
• at least one of the referenced authors is affiliated with UF and the unit
• Reviews all the final lists to ensure accuracy

Hours : 20 hours / week (see more information under Schedule)

Length of Employment : Approximately 7 weeks between December 9, 2025- February 13, 2026

Expected Salary : $19.00 / hour
