- A Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field.
- Two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor.
- Knowledge of DSM-V disorders and most efficacious treatments.

Description :
This position is part of an intensive care team.
The focus is on assessment and safety planning for individuals at the greatest risk of danger to self or others.
Crisis assessments and ongoing clinical support services are provided.
The aim is to allow individuals with serious mental illness to continue living in their community.
The goal is to disrupt emergency out-of-area hospitalizations as much as possible.
This position utilizes EPIC for documentation.
Shifts typically consist of three 10-hour shifts plus one 5-hour shift.
Up to two nights on call may be required.
Weekend work may also be necessary.
The department provides hospital and clinic-based services.
The unit has a total bed capacity of up to 15 and an outpatient team census of up to 50.
The dress code is business casual.
Contract staff will complete a service partner orientation on the first day onsite.
Department-specific training will also be conducted.
Scheduling specifics include covering three days of on-call.
On-call coverage is from 6 : 30 am to 10 : 30 pm.
Additional duties include following clients seen in the emergency department during the week.
This typically can be accommodated during on-call times.
