Director Food and Agribusiness Credit
The Director Food and Agribusiness Credit provides direct leadership to credit team members supporting Farm Credit Mid America's Food and Agribusiness initiative. This team supports large originations including situations where Farm Credit Mid-America is the Administrative Agent, or Joint Lead Arranger. The Director Food and Agribusiness Credit is responsible for ensuring sound credit practices, maintaining portfolio quality, and enabling strategic growth through effective credit structuring and risk management. This role partners closely with sales and operations teams to evaluate complex transactions, guide credit decisions, and support the delivery of tailored financial solutions to large agribusiness clients.

How You Will Spend Your Time
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business, agriculture, or related field. 5 years building foundational leadership skills, understands team responsibilities, and develops emerging competence in leadership practices, coaching, decision-making, and technical mastery to effectively support their team and achieve operational goals.
Mental & Physical Requirements
While engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds.
