Job descriptionConduct inspections and routine maintenance on equipment, appliances, and systems. Diagnose and resolve issues quickly and professionally. Maintain clean, safe, and operational common areas and grounds. Respond to urgent calls, including evenings and weekends, when scheduled. Complete and document resident requests in a timely manner. Provide friendly, professional service when assisting residents. Follow safety guidelines, building codes, and company policies. Qualifications Prior experience in apartment, hotel, or property maintenance preferred. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance required. Certifications (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) a plus, but not required. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability. Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications a plus. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Swan Luxury Studio Apartments in Tallahassee, FL .
Position Overview As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the Maintenance Manager in handling day-to-day repairs, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of the property.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong troubleshooting skills, reliability, and a commitment to keeping our community in excellent condition.
