As a Security Officer - Logistics Driver in Lenexa, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling key areas, overseeing controlled entry points, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. This driving role requires you to interact with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises according to site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with entry requirements and information about access procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with logistics and distribution staff to maintain the flow of authorized personnel, vehicles, and shipments through access points.
  • Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
