JOB SUMMARY

The Front Office Representative at Village Pediatrics (now a part of Catalyst Physician Group) will ensure a positive and seamless patient experience from check in to check out. This position will handle front office operations and serve as a Float Medical Assistant to support back office operations as needed. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Check patients in for appointments, update patient demographics. and obtain insurance information
• Assist patients with completing necessary forms and accurately document patient information in EMR
• Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances upon check out
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and efficiently
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas
• Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism
• Assist back office with patient rooming to efficiently meet daily appointment schedules as needed
• Obtain vital signs, prep and room patients as needed
• Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
