As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. By remaining highly visible and conducting regular patrols, you help to deter security-related incidents and respond to situations as needed. This armed position requires professionalism, exceptional communication, and a customer-focused mindset, reflecting Allied Universal's commitment to agility, reliability, and putting people first. Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 15 PM

Wed 05 : 45 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Help to deter unwanted activity and promote a positive environment by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed security-related protocols as needed.

Maintain a visible presence to assist with loss prevention and / or unauthorized activity within the retail location.

Complete security-related reports and document observations during patrols and incidents.

Communicate with team members and site management to relay information about incidents, concerns, and / or potential risks.

Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site-specific instructions while executing security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements :

Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Hold a Level III armed certification for roles in Texas.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
