Job Title : Electrical Engineer II / III Job Location : Slidell Louisiana 70458 Onsite Requirements : Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electro -Mechanical Engineer Control Systems, EMI / EMC Power systems and Electrical Safety Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. Job Description : This role performs a full spectrum of electrical engineering activities, including conceptual design, detailed electrical and communications subsystem design, analysis, integration, testing, and production / field support. Candidates must be able to work both independently and within cross-functional teams supporting advanced technologies for military vehicle systems. Strong contributors may also lead small design teams and participate in proposal, planning, and customer-facing efforts. Key Responsibilities : Design and integrate electrical and communication systems for vehicle platforms. Perform engineering analysis, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and system-level integration. Support concept development, prototyping, and production troubleshooting. Produce engineering artifacts : drawings, specifications, presentations, test plans, and test reports. Participate in proposal efforts, providing cost, risk, and technical input. Brief management and customers on technical progress; may serve as a team lead. Required Education & Experience : Level 2 : Bachelor's in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering + 2+ years, or Master's + 1 year. Level 3 : Bachelor's + 5+ years, or Master's / PhD + 3+ years; leadership experience preferred. Technical Requirements : Strong background in system design / integration for military or commercial platforms. Experience with control systems, EMI / EMC, power systems, and electrical safety. Required familiarity with Systems Engineering and HIL simulation / testing. Desired expertise includes : Cable design RF systems HALT / ESS testing Environmental / EMI qualification GPS / RF integration AC / DC power systems Ethernet / RS232 / 422 / CAN Lithium batteries Power conversion Grounding Fault-tree analysis Power test equipment Troubleshooting digital communication / cabling Wired Ethernet / network configuration experience is a plus. Ability to obtain a security clearance; 10-15% travel expected.
