Pay Range
$20.50 - $40.70
Purpose
This position is responsible for all aspects of store operations, including providing an exceptional shopping experience to every customer through established company guidelines concerning sales, customer service, and associate education. Ensures the store is a safe workplace and provides a safe shopping experience, while maximizing company profitability by managing store operations.
Major Responsibilities
- Operations management, including reading profit and loss statements and maintaining inventory accuracy through computer and POS systems.
- Supervising inventory and cycle counts, and assisting with HR and loss prevention issues.
- Managing cash handling practices and coordinating facility management for safety and security.
- Supporting budget adherence and driving profitability.
- Maintaining brand and operational standards and store presentation.
- Enhancing customer service by creating a friendly, helpful environment and managing peak periods.
- Handling claims, supporting e-commerce operations, and managing store administrative records.
- Overseeing logistics, including truck scheduling and customer pickups.
- Managing and developing staff, including performance reviews, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
3-5 years retail management experience with proven operational leadership.Ability to perform in high-volume, complex environments, demonstrating initiative and self-starting abilities.Proficiency in recruiting, hiring, training, and excellent communication skills.Ability to exercise discretion and adapt quickly, with strong customer service skills and resilience under pressure.Working Conditions
Occasional travel, including air and car travel.Exposure to warehouse environments and moving vehicles, with noise levels from quiet to moderate.Physical / Sensory Requirements
Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and 20-30 pounds frequently, with frequent use of hands and fingers, and ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and stoop regularly.
