Red Spot Paint & Varnish Co., Inc. currently has an immediate opening for a Facility Maintenance Repair Supervisor to join our 2nd shift Operations Team at our Evansville, IN facility.

Position will supervise approximately 3 maintenance technicians on 2nd shift with some oversight of 1st shift as well.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Facility, Safety, and Systems Operations - Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance programs are performed accurately and timely.

Respond quickly to all maintenance calls. Prioritize and scheduled completion of all requests.

• Project Management - Lead various small-to-mid sized construction projects from conception to conclusion, including plan design, budgeting, obtaining approvals, and completion.
• People Oversight - Assign, schedule, prioritize work assignments of maintenance personnel. Participate in recruiting process, training / evaluations and disciplinary measures.
• Serve as backup to Facilities Maintenance Planning Supervisor, Central Store Coordinator and other related positions.
• Operation of Emergency Systems - test and schedule emergency systems to ensure all are ready and operating correctly.
• Work with Corporate EHS to implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs and guidelines in accordance with the law and corporate standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Includes education, experience, and licenses / certifications required. This list may not be all inclusive.)

• GED / High School Diploma is required.
• Five (5) plus years' experience in Facility Maintenance is strongly preferred. Any combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• One (1) plus year of supervisory experience is required.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor others.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
