Job Description :
The Site Controls Engineering Manager is responsible for the development of control systems for automating manufacturing processes and packaging systems and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.
The Controls Leader is responsible for developing skills that support excellence in execution and leadership including effective communications and establishing clear accountability with the project team contractors and vendors while contributing to a winning environment which promotes safety trust and confidence
What are we looking for
Minimum :
- Bachelors degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) or 5 - 10 years Factory Controls & IT experience
- Possess or is able to obtain Operational Electrical Qualification Certificate (must be able to work independently on live electrical panels)
- In-depth understanding of functional engineering area of expertise
- Developing Team skills - high performance team experience
- Results Driven while Dealing with Ambiguity
- Good communication & influencing of others
- Critical & innovative thinking

Technical and project management knowledge required to execute projects that deliver stated business objectivesBeing an active leader and participant in the project development process in creating and supporting Global and North American engineering standardsUsing the adopted project management techniques to manage projects to meet agreed upon commitments of project scope time and budgetFacilitates the transfer of knowledge of control systems and electrical projects to site stakeholders through the CVS process.Maintaining a positive attitudeDemonstrate the ability to analyze design program and test applications for Factory Controls & IT systemsGood understanding of Operating Systems environments including Microsoft Windows PC and Server Operating systems Active Directory other Microsoft technologies and thin-client technologiesWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks PDMAbility to work well with user departments to provide the operational support in the use of HMI terminals including thin client along with software applications on Control SystemsMust be able to ascertain - through interaction with production and engineering staff representatives - the requirements for process control computer applicationsKnowledge of databases such as Microsoft Access Microsoft SQL Server and database connectivity using ODBC and Wonderware automation softwareKnowledge of web application development including basic web design web connectivity and database accessUnderstanding of networks including but not limited to Modbus Ethernet Devicenet and / or ProfibusAbility to troubleshoot programs residing in but not limited to Modicon Siemens and / or Rockwell Automation PLC Control Systems in the plantWhat can you expect from Mars
