FNP Job Details

Additional Details : Permanent NP position with a CAH covering outpatient clinic with some cross coverage to ER

Working in CAH and clinic

Must be able to see all ages

Covering outpatient, primary care clinic

Provider will carry your own panel of patients

Provider will diagnose and treat short-term illnesses, provide preventative care including routine checkups, perform health-risk assessments, offer immunizations and screening tests, extend personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as well as manage and coordinate care for those with chronic conditions.

Occasional admitting and rounding on inpatients

Busy clinic days will be 10 - 12 patients, normal days 5 - 7

Responsible for ER at times (will be solo in the ER)

There is a video / audio system in the ER for backup access to a Physician

Call responsibility / coverage divided between providers

Very good working conditions, family atmosphere

4 day work week (Shifts fall within Monday - Friday)

BLS certification needed

2 years of NP or PA experience required in Clinic and some ER
