Our client, a leader in fire protection and life safety products, is actively looking for a Fire Alarm Inspector for their Peabody team.
Job Summary : Fire Alarm Inspectors are responsible for routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm and Suppression Life Safety Systems.
Job Responsibilities :
Lead routine service and maintenance tasks on fire alarm and suppression systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
This includes inspecting, testing, cleaning components, and verifying system functionality.
- Identify / diagnose issues with fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
- Provide strong customer service.
- Make sure work follows relevant codes and regulations.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- NICET Level II Certification preferred.
Experience :
1+ years of fire safety service experience
Knowledge, Skills, Capabilities :
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the FLS industry.
- Knowledge of NFPA code requirements
