Job Summary :

This position is a licensed and performs their primary duties independently and under general direction of the Mental Health Unit Director. Primary duties include :

• Providing individual, family, conjoint, group behavioral health therapy services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• Conducting individual assessments, including diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and referrals throughout the service continuum as appropriate.
• Providing family counseling as assigned.
• Working cooperatively to provide evidenced based practice and utilize standards developed in conjunction with the Core BOPS Psychiatric team which will include an assigned psychiatrist, mid-level providers, and other therapists.

Minimum Qualifications for the Job :

Workplace Violence Prevention Training within 90 days of hire

Internal Hires : Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.

External Hires : This position starts at $38.69 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
