Senior Manager, Human Resources (Salaried HR Client Support)

Own Strategy and Consistency of Salaried HR Processes : Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to ensure consistency and effectiveness in key areas such as talent management, salary planning, performance reviews, employee relations, and employee engagement. This involves creating frameworks and guidelines that align with organizational goals and ensuring they are consistently applied across all salaried HR processes.
Partner with Plant Leaders and Functional VPs : Collaborate closely with plant leaders and functional Vice Presidents to address the needs of the salaried workforce. This includes workforce planning to anticipate future staffing needs, talent acquisition to attract and retain top talent, and succession planning to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders within the organization.
Provide Oversight and Coaching to Plant HR Managers : Offer guidance and support to Plant HR Managers to ensure their activities align with corporate HR policies and objectives. This involves regular coaching sessions, providing feedback, and sharing best practices to enhance their effectiveness and ensure a unified approach to HR management across all locations.
Ensure Consistent Application of Policies and Legal Compliance : Monitor and enforce the consistent application of HR policies and procedures to maintain legal compliance and mitigate risks. This includes staying informed about relevant labor laws and regulations, conducting audits, and addressing any high-risk employee relations issues that arise, escalating them when necessary.
Champion Culture, Inclusion, and Leadership Development Initiatives : Lead efforts to foster a positive organizational culture that values diversity and inclusion. Develop and implement leadership development programs to nurture and grow leadership capabilities across the organization, ensuring that these initiatives are integrated into the broader HR strategy.
Act as Primary Liaison with Headquarters HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) : Serve as the main point of contact between the plant HR teams and the headquarters HR Centers of Excellence, which include Compensation, Benefits, and Talent. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on HR strategies and initiatives, leveraging the expertise of the COEs to enhance local HR practices and address specific challenges.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role overseeing salaried HR processes. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. Experience in leading change management efforts and driving cultural transformation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience with HR analytics and metrics is advantageous.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with plant leaders, functional VPs, and HR colleagues. A collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience in ensuring legal compliance and managing high-risk employee relations issues.
Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Experience in leading initiatives that promote cultural awareness and inclusion.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with talent management and performance review software is a plus.
