Position Summary : Under general supervision, the Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures, grounds, and utility systems, maintaining Santa Maria’s fleet of vehicles, overseeing maintenance and housekeeping staff, tracking maintenance requests, and keeping accurate records of preventative maintenance and repairs. Position involves driving between facilities and requires a valid driver’s license with proof of current insurance and a clean driving record. No smoking workplace
Mon-Fri, evenings and weekends as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Must have proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role; Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, etc.), certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing strongly preferred; Understanding of budgeting and performance management; Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
Certificates and Licenses :
Requires valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance; vocational certificate, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification preferred.
