Job Description

The Commercial Lines Account Manager's primary function is to fulfill our clients' needs by delivering prompt and precise service while supporting our Risk Advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Bind and issue new and renewal business policies.
  • Create Master Certificate and Evidence of Property Templates.
  • Market upcoming renewals to ensure clients receive optimal coverage and competitive premiums, utilizing online quoting as necessary.
  • Prepare proposals for clients.
  • Draft premium finance agreements upon client request.
  • Ensure timely renewal of all policies.
  • Gather all required documentation for insurance carriers.
  • Process client requests via email, mail, and phone.
  • Access and retrieve policy, billing, and account information through various carrier portals.
  • Mentor Associate Managers and delegate tasks when appropriate.
  • Proactively review account limits and recommend additional coverage as needed.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the department manager.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Desired
  • 3 or more years of Account Management experience is desired
  • Maintain a Property / Casualty Agents License
  • Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and their design.
  • Adaptable to various computer programs and agency procedures.
  • Applied EPIC and CSR24 experience is a plus.
