Job Summary

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas : recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, benefits administration, HRIS systems such as Dayforce and SuccessFactors, and employment law compliance.

Primary Duties

  • Responsible for timekeeping activities to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
  • Facilitate recruitment efforts for all hourly personnel, including updating or drafting job postings, participating in interviews, and attending job fairs as needed.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation processes for all new hires.
  • Administer employee coaching & disciplines, exit interviewing, and hourly performance management.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support training and development initiatives.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain HRIS & employee records and compile reports from the database as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned including administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 24 years of HR experience preferred, no experience necessary.
