Interim Privacy Counsel

A company is looking for an Interim Privacy Counsel and Data Protection Officer (contract).

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the company's data protection strategy and ensure compliance with data privacy laws

Act as the primary contact for data subjects and manage data subject access requests

Develop and implement data privacy policies and conduct regular audits of data processing activities

Required Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in privacy law or data protection

Expertise in GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, and other relevant data protection regulations

Experience in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)

Strong understanding of data privacy governance frameworks

Ability to develop and deliver data privacy training programs
