Transporter Job Summary
Schedule : 11 AM - 7 : 30 PM every Saturday & Sunday
The Transporter is responsible for the safe and timely movement of patients, specimens, equipment, supplies, and linen throughout the hospital. This role also includes the collection of biohazard waste, sharps containers, and soiled linen. The Transporter supports daily hospital operations and plays a vital role in ensuring efficient care delivery.
Essential Functions
Receive assignments from the coordinator, which may include :
Complete each assignment promptly and notify dispatch upon completion to receive the next task. Perform quarterly cleaning of transport equipment to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards. Attend monthly department meetings to stay updated on procedures and expectations. Support additional tasks and duties as needed to assist in hospital operations.

Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
