Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key financial processes, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Responsibilities :
- Process and monitor daily cash applications to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Manage commercial collections by resolving outstanding invoices and maintaining effective communication with clients.
- Oversee billing functions, ensuring all invoices are prepared and distributed correctly and on schedule.
- Reconcile cash activity and identify discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize SAP to manage accounts receivable processes and generate financial reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to billing and payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounts receivable effectiveness.
Requirements :
Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections.Proficiency in SAP or similar financial systems.Strong understanding of billing functions and cash activity reconciliation.Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.Customer service skills with a focus on resolving billing and payment inquiries.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
