Manager, Inside Sales
Reporting to the Director of Ticket Sales, the Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and leading a team of entry-level Inside Sales Representatives. This team is tasked with selling all Washington Nationals ticket products, including full, half, and partial season plans, group packages, and single-game suites.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with a demonstrated record of performance, driven by results, collaboration, and staff development. While the primary focus of this role is on the growth and day-to-day management of the Inside Sales team, the Manager, Inside Sales will also play a key role in shaping ticket sales strategy, campaign execution, and departmental planning.
This position works collaboratively with the Ticket Sales and Service leadership team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and to drive the continued growth and success of the Nationals' ticket sales initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of Inside Sales Representatives.
Provide oversight to ensure staff sales and service efforts align with departmental strategy and meet revenue goals.
Foster a professional culture built on hard work, tactical development, and results.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to review activity, pipelines, and results, providing coaching and feedback.
Implement sales incentives and contests to drive motivation and achievement.
Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor to monitor activity and provide real-time guidance.
Participate in client meetings to support representatives in advancing and closing opportunities.
Manage scheduling, workflow, and day-to-day operations of the Inside Sales team.
Lead department-wide sales trainings to promote consistency in sales process and collaboration.
Achieve or exceed established sales and performance metrics.
Partner with Ticket Sales, Service, and Operations leadership to identify strategies for growth and efficiency.
Assist with the execution of sales and service events to support business objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with universities and networks to develop a pipeline of sales talent.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree Required
3-5 Years' Experience in Ticket Sales
1-2 Years' Management Experience Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions :
Ability to successfully manage staff while maximizing their revenue production is necessary
Excellent written and verbal communications, time management and interpersonal skills are required
Gameday responsibilities include serving as Manager on Duty and assisting in Ticket Sales / Services initiatives
Knowledge of Tickets.com ticketing software and Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred

Physical / Environmental Requirements :
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
Work will require weekend / holiday and / or evening work
Compensation :
The projected annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant's qualifications, skills, expertise, education / training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
