We’re first-time parents expecting our baby on October 11 2025. We’d like to bring on a seasoned night nanny starting in Nov —when our little one will be about three weeks old—to help establish healthy, age-appropriate sleep habits while we rest and recover.
Core schedule
•Five nights per week (Sunday night → Friday morning preferred)
•10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. guaranteed; an occasional 7 a.m. finish appreciated
•Start date: November, 2025.
•Duration: 3-6 months, with the option to extend
Key responsibilities
•Provide vigilant overnight care: feeding, burping, diapering, soothing
•Apply evidence-based safe-sleep practices (AAP) and gentle sleep-shaping techniques suited to a newborn’s stage
•Track feeds, wake windows, and sleep stretches in our shared log/app and give a brief recap each morning
•Keep the nursery tidy (prep bottles, wash baby linens) when time permits
Must-have qualifications
•2 + years paid experience as a night nanny or Newborn Care Specialist with infants under 6 months
•Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit with parents
•Legally authorized to work in the US
•Fully vaccinated, Non-smoker.
•We may request Background Check
Preferred
•Current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before the start date)
