Senior Consultant – Financial Services - Data & Analytics – Data Management and Strategy

The Opportunity
You will help clients navigate the complex world of data governance and quality, leveraging AI and automation to enhance these processes. You will specialize in Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Foster Relationships : Build and maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels, consistently delivering quality client services.
- Monitor Progress : Manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Drive Innovation : Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business, particularly in AI and automation technologies.
- Mentor and Coach : Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Business Development : Cultivate and manage business development opportunities, developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Lead AI-Driven Initiatives : Manage client engagement teams to implement AI solutions that enhance data governance and quality.
- Integrate Data Management in Engineering : Collaborate with engineering teams to embed data management and governance practices into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and approximately three years of related work experience; or graduate degree and approximately two years of related work experience.Minimum of two years' experience providing complex consultative services in data architecture, data governance, master data management, data quality, metadata management, privacy and security, and records management.Strong working knowledge of modernizing information management, particularly through AI and automation.Proficiency in advising clients on the full data supply chain from data wrangling to analytics, embedding governance in engineering processes.Proven track record of translating business challenges into value-add solutions with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Engagement leadership experience, managing junior staff, providing status updates, monitoring project economics, and managing client relationships.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Willingness to travel (approximately 80%). Valid driver's license and passport required.Ideal Additional Experience
Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.Knowledge of modern information management tools (Talend, Collibra, Oracle DRM, SAP MDM, Informatica, SQL, Alation, Purview).Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Databricks or Snowflake.Experience designing, developing, or implementing AI or automation solutions to enhance data governance.At EY, we'll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
