• Director of Enterprise Architecture Location : plano TX Onsite Position) Client : Banking  W2 position Position Overview The Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for defining and governing the overall technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving digital transformation across the enterprise.
• This role provides leadership in technology planning, solution design, and enterprise architecture governance, enabling scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions that support long-term growth.
• Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership o Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives. o Partner with business and IT leadership to define technology investment priorities and guide digital transformation initiatives. o Anticipate emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the business.
• Architecture & Design o Establish and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, standards, and reference models. o Ensure consistency, reusability, and scalability across applications, data, infrastructure, and security architectures. o Lead the design of solutions for complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Governance & Compliance o Chair or participate in architecture review boards to ensure adherence to architectural standards. o Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards. o Manage technical debt and promote best practices in design and implementation.
• Collaboration & Leadership o Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, business stakeholders, and technology teams. o Mentor and lead a team of enterprise and solution architects. o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
