Real Estate Underwriting Manager

A company is looking for a Real Estate Lending Underwriting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of underwriting and regulatory control for the Real Estate Lending Department

Implement agency and investor guidelines to ensure lending portfolio safety and quality

Develop training programs for loan personnel and represent the company in community engagements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

5 years of experience in mortgage lending and underwriting required

3 years of leadership or supervisory experience required, preferably in Real Estate Lending

Strong understanding of secondary market guidelines and automated underwriting

Ability to perform complex income analysis and work in a deadline-oriented environment
