We are seeking qualified candidates for Forklift Operator for our Shipping Department - First Shift (Monday to Thursday - 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM) at our Byhalia, Mississippi Distribution Center. The starting pay is $21.96 with an increase after 90 days.

Responsibilities of the position include :

The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking and loading freight securely and correctly. In this role you will ensure that work is done in a safe and timely manner.

Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products.

• Check assigned forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional.
• Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments.
• Review reports / orders / customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product.
• Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product / pallets.
• Ensure production standards are maintained.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
