Job Title : IT Desktop Support Technician
Job Type & Location : Onsite | 200 Healthcare Dr, Lafayette, CO | Contract is initially 2 months starting from September but is fully extendable based on candidate performance. May extend to long-term / ongoing contract.

Responsibilities
- Provide IT desktop support including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues with focus on resolving problems without impacting hardware warranties or customer security compliance requirements.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals and desktop applications.
- Assist with enterprise LAN and WAN setups; perform smart hand activities at sites under instruction.
- Lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as required.
- Provide desk-side PC break / fix support and basic administration of Windows OS, macOS, and Linux (preferred).
- Use knowledge of TCP / IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Provide Smart Hands support for peripheral and networking hardware including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, and data termination panels.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues using deductive reasoning; resolve end-user network cabling issues.
- Analyze repeat calls and develop preventive actions; participate in problem management.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communications with clients and management; demonstrate strong people skills.
- Work to deadlines with proactive ownership and a sense of urgency.
- Preferably hold an Associate Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Possess other vendor certifications from OEMs (e.g., Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Client).
- Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
