Sales Representative

At HES Elevator Services, a division of Savaria, we're proud to be your local arm of the global Savaria team. We have over a decade of experience serving Colorado, and that experience has given us in-depth knowledge of the area's architecture, codes and culture. It also means we've installed and serviced hundreds of residential and LU/LA elevators, wheelchair lifts and stairlifts throughout the state.

Savaria is a global leader in accessibility and patient care products, designing and building wheelchair lifts, stairlifts, elevators for home and commercial applications, medical beds, ceiling track lifts and patient slings. Our vision is to empower people with mobility for life. We achieve this by providing products that improve mobility and access in daily life, and through our drive to build quality products and to be attentive to the needs of our customers.

The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by effectively managing and expanding sales within assigned territories across the United States. This position focuses on achieving and exceeding sales quotas through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and key account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients. They will collaborate closely with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role is essential for increasing market share and establishing the company as a leader in its industry through direct and international sales efforts.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales volume and quota targets within designated sales territories.
  • Manage key accounts by building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships to maximize retention and growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating value propositions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales approaches accordingly.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Competencies:

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, dimensional drawings/specifications and procedural manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Multilingual abilities to support diverse bases.

Education, Experience & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in direct sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales territories and key accounts effectively.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company's products or services.

Certificates, Licenses Or Registrations:

  • Valid driver's license

Computer Skills:

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employees will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employees must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • This position works in an environment with moderate noise levels.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel within assigned territories as required.
