Job Description

Join our client’s manufacturing team as a Material Handler in the Triad Area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all handling operations. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, a focus on safety, and a commitment to supporting production goals.

Responsibilities

Receive, distribute, and store products in secure designated areas

Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records

Inspect shipments for quality and accuracy; verify accompanying documentation

Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods using manual handling or hand trucks / skids

Operate forklifts (10,000 lb. capacity or greater) to safely move heavy and oversized products

Load and unload trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves while securing loads to prevent damage

Follow all safety procedures and conduct daily equipment inspections

Dispose of scrap materials to maintain a safe and organized workspace

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely material delivery

Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required

Minimum of 3 years forklift experience with 10,000 lb. lifting capacity or greater

Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills

Blueprint reading preferred

Strong time management and organizational abilities

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods

Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels (90+ decibels)

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
