As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Commercial & Investment Bank - Securitized Products Group team you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Proactively communicates with leads and peers to iteratively plan and deliver on software solutions
• Recognizes and follows established patterns or help establish new ones as needed to ensure consistency and stability with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches for building solutions or breaking down technical problems
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues to improve operational stability of software applications and systems
• Engages with communities of practice across Software Engineering to become aware of and use new and leading-edge technologies
