Responsibilities Work in an Interventional Radiology unit in a hospital setting Care for adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU populations Perform a variety of advanced procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic procedures, and extremity interventions Use PACS, C-arm, contrast, pushable / detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, injector systems (preferably ACIST) Epic EMR experience required Day shift, 4x10s (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM) Call rotation is required, averaging 10 days per month including one weekend Not required to float within scope Must be available to work all holidays during contract; if contract ends before Christmas, must be available to work at least two major holidays No RTO (time off) will be approved after confirmation except at manager’s discretion Scrubs are provided Parking is free and onsite All travelers must be clean shaven for OSHA Respirator FIT testing prior to start OSHA Respirator clearance must be completed prior to start Pre-start allied health module required (approx. 1 hour), recorded on transcript First-time travelers are accepted Candidates cannot work past 1 year as a traveler; a 6 month break is required to return Requirements Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Current BLS and ARRT certifications required Proficiency with PACS, C-arm, and a wide range of interventional radiology procedures Experience with both outpatient and inpatient adult patient populations, including ICU Epic EMR experience required Must be able to use pushable / detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems Two professional supervisor references from the past 2 years will be required for consideration License required if applicable Candidate must live more than 70 miles from the facility Pending licenses may be accepted at manager's discretion Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632130.
